Dallas, TX – After a successful 30-year career in information technology, Grapevine resident Jane Gowe felt a deeper calling: to channel her expertise into a mission that restores dignity and hope for displaced families. That vision gave birth to BeKinder Coffee, a nonprofit built around the simple but powerful belief that every person deserves compassion, community, and a second chance.

From the start, BeKinder Coffee became a platform for empowerment. Each cup supported refugee families rebuilding their lives in the U.S., offering pathways to employment, training, and community connection. The shop created a space where stories were shared, cultures celebrated, and dignity restored. For many refugees, it represented a first step toward independence, stability, and belonging.

Now, Mr. and Mrs. Gowe are taking their mission beyond Dallas. Through the launch of UMYOasian.site, a gated digital hub and card search engine, they are creating a powerful platform for collaboration, education, and empowerment that extends BeKinder’s values far beyond Dallas.

UMYOasian.site is a digital ecosystem designed to give Asian communities nationwide their own secure, innovative, and collaborative online space. In partnership with UMYONetwork.com, the platform integrates multiple tools under one roof:

At its core, this hub builds on the same values that inspired BeKinder Coffee: dignity, opportunity, and the belief that communities thrive when everyone is given the tools to succeed. Jane and her husband understand that technology, data control, and monetization of digital platforms hold the key to unlocking greater opportunities. Instead of corporations profiting off user data, UMYOasian.site returns ownership and benefits to the people it serves.
“Data is power,” Gowe explains. “When communities have control over their digital ecosystems, they not only protect their voices, they create the tools needed to solve their own challenges. That’s what this hub is all about.”

This approach empowers refugees and the broader Asian community to address real concerns, from employment and education to networking and cultural preservation, while building sustainable solutions beyond Dallas. Through BeKinder Coffee and UMYOasian.site, Jane Gowe demonstrates that kindness and technology are partners, serving humanity through dignity, opportunity, and hope.
“This is more than coffee. More than a website,” Gowe reflects. “It’s about creating a movement where compassion is the foundation and technology is the bridge. Together, we can empower communities everywhere to rise, thrive, and lead.”
